The Purchasing Process

One of the biggest mistakes brides make is waiting too long to buy a wedding gown. Six months before the wedding is an adequate time frame. Once you purchase your wedding gown everything else seems to fall into place. It takes up to 16 weeks to order a wedding gown. Occasionally, we are able to order and receive new gowns and dresses in a much quicker time frame. Stock merchandise is also available for purchase.

Bridesmaid dresses should be selected 5 months before your wedding date. This allows plenty of time to get your bridesmaids measured, ordered, and fitted. It takes up to 10 weeks to get your bridesmaid dresses from the manufacturers. Often it is hard to get all the bridesmaids motivated, by allowing a five month leeway you are providing ample time. After all of the bridesmaids have been measured, we order all of the bridesmaid dresses at the same time to ensure the same exact color and textures of each bridesmaid dress.

When you place an order at Bridals by Jodi you may pay in full or put down a 50% non-refundable deposit. This makes the gown yours, as the order is placed. The remaining balance must be paid when the wedding gown or bridal attire comes in, before any alterations are to begin.
